Bio

As a highly-motivated and passionate on all subjects relevant to Smart Cities and Tourism, I have been involved in strategic plans and programmes to support the development of smart cities and smart tourism destinations, which I combined with a highly specialised knowledge in EU Funds. My work carried out at some of the most important tourist municipalities such as Calvià and Palma, together with my experience in the Regional Government of the Balearic Islands and in the private sector, have all contributed to my nomination as member of the executive committee of the Balearic Islands main tourism cluster,and myself being named vicepresident of the technological Platform Planetic. Thanks to all of this, I am also a speaker and lecturer at international events. The experience accumulated in the field of tourism, innovation, sustainability and the wide range of EU projects in which I have participated have made it possible for me to gain valuable and transferable skills with an overall vision of the needs of cities and regions in terms of improving their policies when becoming Smart Cities/Smart Destinations: smart mobility, risk management, governance, energy efficiency... Having participated in EU projects in the last 20 years, and utilising excellent communication skills together with a talent for international partnerships, I have developed and maintained successful working relationships with both international public and private entities.
