After 23 years at the Wall Street Journal, I now freelance tech stories from San Francisco for the New York Times. The focus is enterprise tech and semiconductors and the like--think trend stories involving BIG companies, not announcements. No blockchain/crypto/bitcoin. As far as the music goes, I play guitar, mandolin, tenor banjo and bouzouki--in contexts such as the Irish band Blind Duck, the rock band Off the Record and along with play performances at the Curtain Theatre (www.curtaintheatre.org).
