Bio

I love technology, especially new technology :) I am lucky enough to build solutions to automate Model Deployments (MLOps) for our Data Science team. We work with Python, Kubernetes, Helm, AWS SageMaker and TensorFlow. Before this, I led all of the mobile development teams at Rocket Mortgage. We had a great team focused on delivering industry-leading mobile apps for our clients. Our team was responsible for Rocket Mortgages' mobile apps, including the Rocket Mortgage Mobile app and the Mobile Mortgage Calculator by Quicken Loans. We also built out Rocket Mortgages' first wearable apps for the Apple Watch and Wear OS by Google. In addition to my leadership skills, I have a software engineering background with two degrees - one in Computer Science and one in Electrical Engineering. I enjoy learning and getting certified in technologies like AWS, ML, Deep Learning, and building on the AWS Cloud. Outside of Rocket Mortgage, I lead the Detroit and Windsor Google Developers Groups (GDG) with over 3,000 members. We recently celebrated hosting our 50th event for these groups. I enjoy leading user groups and have been doing it for more than ten years. One of my personal goals is to promote the local software developer community and help teach and learn new technology. As part of this, I am honored to serve as a Google Developer Group mentor for the Canada region. I have won a few awards along the way including, - 2019 Tech Professional of the Year for Windsor, Ontario, Canada - 2022 Team Member of the Year for Rocket Technology (one of 4 winners from over ~2000 Team Members in Rocket Technology) - 2022 Awarded as a Innovator and Disruptor in the Rocket Mortgage Technology team. Recognized as one of the top 1% of the company in technology. Lastly, if you are in the market for a mortgage, I love working for Rocket Mortgage and can help you.
