Bio

Donatella has a a remarkable academic track : a Bachelor in Mathematics, two Masters in Applied Mathematics , a Ph. D in Mechanical Engineering. In 2018 she graduated from HEC Paris where she performed an Executive MBA; her professional thesis (capstone) on «How do we integrate space business innovation into the European Ecosystem » was awarded by the HEC Foundation Prix «Exed Best Capstone » among all the EMBA participants. She is Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic. She has 20 years of experience in complex projects management in Space Business. She is an expert in New Space Economy and Open Innovation. In the frame of her EMBA she lead and managed the creation of ESA_Lab@HEC in partnership with HEC Paris and ESA, platform having the objective of promoting research in space business, disseminating knowledge and creating new pedagogical materials for students of HEC. Since 2018 she is responsible for a session on New Space Economy for the HEC Paris Certificate in Aviation and Aerospace.
