Throughout an eventful career, I have been regarded as someone who not only defines strategic vision for game-changing technology products, but is also a hands-on ''doer'' and implementer. I have facilitated the transition of products from ideation to commercialisation for Fortune 500 companies, early stage startups, and entrepreneurial divisions, serving as GM, Programme Leader, EVP, Chief Scientist and Chief Technology Officer. I hold wide-ranging industry knowledge with an ability to focus on multiple areas - leveraging big picture perspective as well as core details as needed. My expertise spans concept development, identification of emerging technologies (hardware, software, systems), and game-changing product design (Servers, PC clients, Normal and Secure Smartphones and Network Appliances). As a trusted advisor and knowledgeable resource to executive leadership, product groups, customers, colleagues, and teams, I aim to foster a culture grounded in approachability, integrity, commitment, engagement, and accountability. I maintain a global perspective with a solid understanding of diversity and inclusion, cultural nuances and international business protocols. I have a proven track record of leading successful teams in the US, India, China, Europe, Brazil, and Canada. I hold over 80 patents and have published 30 technical papers, edited special issues for journals and books and chaired conference topics.
