Dr. Wade Holmes, VCDX #15, CISSP, is Google Cloud’s Head of Security Solutions Management globally, helping enterprises with security modernization as they move to Google Cloud. Wade has over 25 years of industry experience leading products and solutions within complex computing environments of all scopes and sizes. Previous to being at Google, Wade led the VMware Cloud Provider Software Business Unit (CPSBU) Technical Product Management team, with overall responsibility for technical strategy and enablement of VMware's Cloud Provider Platform (CPP). Earlier in his career, Wade was the first external VMware Certified Design Expert in the world outside of VMware, fifteenth overall. Wade is an experienced presenter within the IT industry, and has previously presented at conferences such as VMworld US and Europe multiple times, RSA, Gartner Security Summit, SXSW Interactive, LISA, Tech summit US, Tech summit Tokyo, vForum Tokyo, and multiple VMware User Group conferences.
