My career is centered around learning and giving back. When I decided to teach myself code, I biked to meetups on a daily basis. Now, I co-organize a local meetup. My interest in community building has led me to give talks on breaking into web development, working in application security, and web hacking with many more to come. Attending conferences and volunteering has given me the space to grow and give back. Conferences allowed me to learn about the cybersecurity space while I working as a web developer. After doing software development for some time I moved into the information security space and naturally felt at home in application security. As I continue to grow I learn from open-source platforms such as tryhackme and podcasts like Darknet Diaries. I love going out of my comfort zone and challenging myself with new material by participating in CTFs and taking on speaking engagements.
