Jasper (@jzvw) is the CTO of Riscure North America, where he leads a team of security analysts and innovators working to improve the security of embedded devices. Jasper is a renowned expert in the field of hardware security, with extensive experience in design review, logical testing, side channel analysis, and fault injection attacks. He is also the co-author of the ''Hardware Hacking Handbook: Breaking Embedded Security with Hardware Attacks''. Jasper's passion for security began in his teenage years, when he first discovered the thrill of reverse engineering software. He went on to earn a master's degree in computer science and artificial intelligence, and during his studies, he gained valuable experience working for a penetration testing firm. Jasper's expertise has grown to include a wide range of security-related disciplines, and he is known for his ability to combine AI with cutting-edge security research. At Riscure, Jasper leads the company's pentesting teams and regularly presents at major security conferences around the world. He has been invited to speak at universities such as Stanford, NPS, GMU, and the University of Amsterdam.
