Security professional seeking roles addressing real world security challenges while meeting the needs of businesses. Changing landscapes leave tremendous opportunities to collaborate with leaders of organizations to understand information risk. Everything from cyber-attack, perimeter defense, compliance requirements, internal threats, privacy, competitive intelligence, legality, and more must be weighed against the goals of the organization. My perfect role would be one as a liaison between the c-suite, executive level staff, and the technical experts protecting an organization. In this role I would act as an internal and externally facing evangelist for good security practices. I believe deeply in mentoring and would like to work with an organization that believes in building talented individuals and teams. I strive to become a bridge that improves the partnership between business leaders and the engineering teams driving information security assurance. I enjoy public speaking and developing training including information security awareness modules. I am always looking for opportunities to use my skills in business and information security to help organizations develop effective balanced information security risk models.
