Edward (Ted) Galante was born in San Francisco, California; He is 62 years old is a US citizen and a permanent resident of Zimbabwe. Ted was the founder of Houses For Africa (Zimbabwe) (Private) Limited (HFA), In Zimbabwe his companies have completed over 10 000 units of high and medium density housing. In addition, they have developed over 2 400 residential medium density stands. The companies have also been active in the development of commercial real estate in Zimbabwe. At HFA, Ted was responsible, for structuring and selling the first mortgage backed securities issue in Zimbabwe, and for structuring an innovative mortgage finance vehicle for Mortgage Management Services, and three other SPV Bondholding Companies, which he also founded. For Four Years he served as an Executive Director of Chartwell Capital Group in Johannesburg. He is a Non executive Director of CBZ Holdings, Zimbabwe's largest banking group. He is the Chapter Champion and founding Chairman of the Young Presidents Organization chapter in Harare and past Regional Chairman of the YPO Gold - Africa Region (2016-2018).
