I love to use data and technology to solve real business problems, but I am not a fan of tech for tech's sake. Currently, I help create, scale and optimize applied machine-learning solutions. To accomplish this, I focus on collaboration between executives, data scientists, software engineers, and end-users. I've enjoyed many roles in my career including operations leader, product manager, product marketing, data scientist, sales, and executive strategy. Throughout my 20+ years of professional experience I've learned the following about myself: - I can align, lead and grow teams across many disciplines including operations, engineering, and data science. - I am a good liaison between executives and technical leadership. Helping organize, and prioritize efforts leads to better outcomes for the business. - I have a growth mindset. For example, I've learned to program well enough to teach and write textbooks. I work to overcome ambiguous problem statements by collecting and synthesizing information. This skill has served me well within startups and leading teams in new areas.
