Hello! 👋 My name is Emily and I’ve been doing SEO for more than a decade. During that time, I’ve held roles focused on content development and strategy, technical SEO, local SEO (including data partnerships), client-side and agency-side SEO, and much more. I’ve also led and managed large teams (~60 team members) and small ones (2 team members) and am always seeking new ways to become a better leader and colleague. If you saw me speak at MozCon in 2022, you know that I’m passionate about empowering small and local businesses to get more out of organic search. In my current role, I head up the SEO strategy for Podium, a software company whose mission is to help local businesses win. This means I still get to help SMBs by running SEO in a B2B SaaS environment. (It’s a win-win.)
