Senior Executive and Business Leader with over 30 years’ experience in the financial technology industry. I have lived and worked in Mexico, Spain, United Kingdom and the United States, with substantial work experience in Europe, Africa and Latin America. Currently based in Miami. I have played and instrumental role in creating and building the top banking software company in the world. Most recently, launching the Latin American operation for TEMENOS with full P&L responsibility and driving revenue from $10m to $100m in 10 years, consistently outperforming competitors, and responsible of driving more than 50 major core and digital banking implementations. Experience with both organic growth and with mergers and acquisitions and delivering solutions in SaaS, BaaS and other Cloud models. I have also had experience as an entrepreneur owning a consulting company and distribution of software products for the financial sector. In my experience in the banking sector, I have helped many institutions in their digital transformation from legacy systems to state-of-the-art technologies to scale their business, achieve lower operational cost and improve their customer experience. Due to my knowledge of the industry & trends, I have been invited to participate as a keynote speaker, panelist & moderator at top industry renowned international events related to financial technology : Felaban, CLAB, Digital Bank Latam, LendIT, Fintech Americas and other events around economic growth, finance & business with top institutions to name a few: World Economic Forum, The World Bank, University of Cambridge, Australia-Latin America Business Council, and others. I am a firm advocate of financial inclusion, in particular for developing countries where I work, and I believe technology has the power to empower under-served communities by giving them access to financial services – for a better standard of living and to create economic growth.
