Bio

The first paying job I took on I was a teenager during summer school vacation where I worked on a construction site, shovelling cement on a new school roof at the other side of town in Berlin. As workers started their shift early, I had to get up at 4:30 AM during the whole summer and travelled by public transportation 1.5h to get there. The work was hard, hot and tiring. I made OK money but realized the toughness my co-workers and polish lead had to do their whole life. The boss on day took me aside and said: Be good at school and work hard so you can avoid doing this for all your life. With this first paying job I achieved my goal to earn money for my driving license but on top of that one of the most impactful lessons for my professional life.
