Working on Capitol Hill, in the church, politics, nonprofit, digital comms, and big data has taught me to look for what and who is left out. That is where the most interesting answers can be found and where the greatest opportunity exists to make an impact. Injustice and inequality are both ethical failings and market inefficiencies. We apply business solutions for social impact, and empathy-based machine learning to build better data and understanding…and to outcompete the powers and principalities that prey upon the least, last, and forgotten in our society.
