Eric W. Shamlin is the EVP Global Head of Entertainment for MediaMonks, where he works at the intersection of culture and innovation. He leads efforts to drive revenue, build relationships, deliver excellence, and dent culture. He is a two-time Emmy-, two-time Peabody-, and sixteen-time Cannes Lion-winning creative executive with over 26 years of experience. While working at the intersection of traditional storytelling and emerging technology he’s built teams and delivered high-profile collaborations in television, film, music, games, events and immersive media. Eric currently sits on the Board of Governors of the Television Academy, the Board of Delegates for the Producers Guild of America and holds multiple Advisory roles for the SXSW Festival. Eric Shamlin holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Directing from Academy of Art University, and is currently finishing his MBA.
