Erica is the VP for Machine Learning at Upwork, the #1 world's work marketplace platform for talent. She leads Search & Recommendations, Knowledge Graph, Trust & Safety/Fraud, Marketing, Experimentation & ML Infra with an international organization spanning 20+ countries. Formerly, Erica was the Director of ML & Software Engineering at Zillow, the #1 online real estate marketplace, where she led ML products, such as Zestimate and more. Previously, Erica worked at Apple AI, Morgan Stanley, and Harvard Research. She is the founder of WomenOfAI.org, a nonprofit which provides free/sponsored AI resources to women working in AI from AWS, GCP, Samsung. Erica is an international speaker on AI who has spoken at Grace Hopper, Harvard, Stanford, Google, Amazon, TechCrunch, Databricks, TechCode China & Born2Global Korea.
