Educator and practicing senior interaction designer. My sweet-spot is the interaction design of systems, applications and social interfaces. I love working with startups and am a hands-on designer. 25+ years experience. 11+ years consulting. 11 years in-house. Experienced in Design management, interaction design, systems thinking, information architecture, content strategy, art direction, brand management, photography, project management and career development. Expertise in developing talent and directing the design of interactive experiences—software and web applications and tools—that enable people to be more productive and efficient in their life and work. Clients and in-house work have included: a variety of startups plus the ADL, Capital One, Autodesk, Akamai, Intuit, Seagate, Macmillan New Ventures, NetFlix, Comcast, Ask, Yahoo!, AOL, AltaVista, Adobe and Kodak.
