In 2016, I co-founded BusUp, a bus ride-sharing platform, with the aim of disrupting traditional coach sector through technology and innovation and contributing to a more sustainable mobility. Today, this dream has come true and Busup is successfully answering the mobility needs of companies (Accenture, Siemens, Nestlé, etc.), schools (IESE, Lycée Français, Deutsche Schüle, etc.) and events (Lollapalooza, RockinRio, Rototom, etc.) located in growing metro areas in Spain, Portugal and Brazil with more than 1.400 daily passengers and 24.000 users. Not only that, BusUp has also improved its passengers quality of life by bringing them back their commuting time (av. 90 min every day) and contributing to save an average of 72Kg of CO2 emissions with every bus. Thanks to my multidisciplinary background in Humanities (Ba in Humanities studies by UAB), Innovation (Open Innovation Programme by ESADE Business School) and Management (Program for Management Development by ESADE Business School and Executive MBA by IESE Business School) as BusUp’s CIO, I can deliver deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and product and service optimization so as to bring unparalleled customer satisfaction, and successful fund-raising and expansion, so as to ensure rapid growth. I also love to dedicate part of my time as a keynote speaker, spreading the benefits of sustainable mobility, innovation and entrepreneurship in venues such as Latam Smart Mobility Summit, Autonomy Paris, Move 2020, Noah Conference, IESE, etc.
