Bio

My work involves collaboration with industry, regulators, associations, academia and professional societies to develop tools for the assessment of biological medicines quality, and the associated materials used in manufacturing. in my past experience, I supported outreach efforts in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Region, where I helped design programs aimed to enhance the understanding of regulations and standards in the registration of medicinal products. I am always interested in partnering and building stronger relationships with organizations and individuals with interest in science and its impact on public health. Specific areas of interest: quality of medicinal products, supply chain and quality of raw materials used in bio manufacturing, access to affordable essential medicines including biologics and biosimilars, reimbursement of cost of medicines, increased access to medical products in the developing world, cell and gene based therapies and the evolving field of regenerative medicine. I am happy to engage, exchange ideas and share my experiences in the following areas: • Regulations and standards for biopharmaceuticals including peptides, proteins, cell- gene- and tissue-based therapy products, vaccines and medical devices. • Tools and solutions to enable manufacturing and release of complex biological products • Cell and Molecular biology, biochemistry, neurosciences, stem and progenitor cells, and cell-based therapies. • Leadership, strategic planning, portfolio management and cross functional teams. Extensive experience working with volunteers • International work and living experiences, speaker at national and international conferences
