Greg Sharp has spent 23 years in the IT Industry both in the UK and in New Zealand, is a CISSP qualified IT security engineer and currently is the Managing Director of Base 2, and ZenContract, located in Auckland New Zealand. Having grown 2 Managed Service Provider Technology businesses in the New Zealand market to be leaders in their fields, providing services to the SMB and Mid market segments, Greg is a frequent speaker on the MSP conference circuit across NZ, Aus and the USA. Greg Founded Base 2 in 2008 and has lead it to win awards in IT Service, management and security delivery, creating an award winning small to medium business technology security platform as recognised by Cisco at its Live awards in 2018. Greg Sharp has a passion for New Zealand, for New Zealand business and the part technology can play in that success. He is also interested in IT Security design and implementation for the SMB and mid-market in Asia Pacific. Greg and his team has created a SMB cyber security service for the NZ and AUS markets protecting them from cyber based business interruption, and educating the business owners on how to Protect and Grow their awesome businesses.
