As a Vice President in Shell’s Sectors & Decarbonisation business, I hold responsibility for the Mining Sector, New Sector Development, and drive the innovation roadmap in the business. I lead a team that identifies, develops and delivers decarbonisation solutions to help our customers achieve their net carbon reduction targets. We offer low-carbon products and solutions across Shell or in conjunction with our partners. This includes biofuels, electrification of assets and fleets, hydrogen and renewable power, as well as carbon capture and storage, and nature-based offsets. My team also evaluates how we can best support customers that require a cross-sectoral approach and new-to-Shell sectors that have ambitions to decarbonise. I consider myself fortunate to be working in a field that allows me to live out my passions. To partner with our customers to achieve their decarbonisation goals by leveraging on (digital) innovation and commercial business development, and in doing so, to make a difference and accelerate the much-needed energy transition.
