I was born in China, came to California for high school in 2011, wanted to become a professional basketball player but fell in love with engineering. I moved to the East Coast for University where I earned my Masters in Mechanical Engineering in 2019. I led a team to successful completion of a project sponsored by the USSOCOM, in which we prototyped world’s first in-sole sensor that can measure both shear and normal force when walking/running. I founded Exovolar after university and started pursuing the next frontier of air mobility.
