I am a Biomedical Engineer (sitting then in the intersection between Math, Computer Science, Data Science and Life Sciences) with an extensive background in Software Engineering, Data Science and ML/DL applied to different contexts, such as Biotech Manufacturing, Healthcare and DevOps, just to mention the latest, and a lifelong learner. Currently leading a ML/AI and Engineering team and busy unlocking business value in Biotech/Pharma through Deep Learning projects, mostly in Computer Vision (but not restricted to this field by the way) and dealing with Deep Generative Models in the same space. One of the initiatives I have been involved in the pharma industry, an automated visual inspection system which provides Advanced Analytics and AI for generating business insights on rejected product images, won the Manufacturing Leadership Award 2021 in the ''Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence Leadership'' category. Personally, I have been recognized as DataOps Champion at the Streamsets DataOps Summit 2019 and awarded as one of the Top 50 Tech Visionaries at the 2019 Dubai Intercon Conference.
