Bio

Hannah Mowat is campaigns coordinator at Fern and oversees their work on trade, climate, development and consumption. Fern’s mission is to achieve environmental and social justice in the policies and practices of the EU with a focus on forests and forest peoples’ rights. She has published numerous reports and articles on finance and land rights, carbon trading, biodiversity offsetting, LULUCF and negative emissions. She has more than 10 years experience working in environmental NGOs, previously working at Friends of the Earth and the Munden Project, and lives in Paris.
