Bio

I plan and run large global and domestic events and meetings for up to 60,000 attendees. These meetings set the tone for the organization’s goals and return measurable results through revenue and repeat attendees. I am a strategic partner with the corporations and organizations I work with informing the strategy and vision that fuels their growth and leading talented teams in bringing the events to life. ►►seasholtzhm@yahoo.com◄◄ AWARD WINNING EVENT STRATEGIST My passion for my industry led me and two colleagues to create the “Pandemic Compliance Advisor Course” to spur the meetings and events industry back to in-person meetings safely. Another goal was to support jobs in the industry by getting people back to work. We found a partner in Health Education Services. So far 4,000 have taken the course and received a new industry credential. As a result, we received the 2021 Global Award for Adaptation and Innovation by Events Industry Council. I’ve also been recognized for my achievements in the industry and was a finalist for “Business Event Strategist of the Year” award in 2019 given by the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA). Additionally, I am proud of directing the team responsible for pulling off the logistics for the World Meeting of Families in Philadelphia as well as aspects of the Pope’s visit in 2015. INVESTED MANAGER AND TEAM ADVOCATE You might find my team members using my tagline, “Your success is my success.” I revel in the success of my team. It fills my soul when my team members get recognized for their excellence. I invest heavily in mentoring them and creating cohesive cultures focused on knowledge sharing and collaboration. MENTORING -> FIRST and FOREMOST I love my industry and I am enthusiastic about giving back. When I went to college there wasn’t the support of industry mentors. It is important to me that my team members, students and other professionals in the industry have the support and understand how to build a career. Therefore, I actively mentor my team members, students at Penn State, my alma mater and others affiliated with PCMA. BRIDGE BUILDER My work touches several functions in the company. Oftentimes the functions are very siloed and getting everyone to work together is challenging for a number of reasons. I pride myself on being a bridge builder in that I am able to align disparate functions around a common goal and cultivate a willingness to collaborate and support each other. Reach out to talk about creating cohesive, tone-setting global and domestic events that return measurable results.
