Welcome to my LinkedIn Profile. To share a little about me... I’m the founder and former CEO of the UK’s first EMI to be awarded issuing licenses by Mastercard and Visa. Pioneering at the time – thanks to ‘the’ most extraordinary team. Now I’m the proud co-founder of Open Banking Excellence (OBE), a rapidly growing global community of Fintech’s, Big Tech’s, Regulators and Services Providers. Our OBE community brings together thousands and thousands of engaged Open Banking and Open Finance pioneers, around the world, looking to learn from each other, collaborate and shape a new growth trajectory through contribution and exceptional content. OBE is the industry’s campfire. A safe place to spark discussion and have an adult debate. This adage is fitting and true: “When you bring great people together AMAZING things happen!” During the Pandemic we all saw the importance and the immense power of community in our personal and professional lives. It’s been a privilege to keep our community connected and to support our #OBEHeroes who galvanized their teams into action for a C19 response. We worked tirelessly behind the scenes to support them, opening doors and making connections for new distribution channels. A defining moment for our industry. I believe in karma – what you give out, you get back. I also have my digital payments consultancy, Striding Edge, this helps banks and business navigate the complexities of Open Banking, eMoney and wallets. I believe in cutting through the complexity in a jargon free-way. I've the pleasure of delivering for a variety of international clients working with culturally diverse teams to facilitate sustainable, transformational change in a dynamic, complex regulated landscape. I describe my role as collaborating with an executive team to make their plans happen. Voted one of the ‘Top Ten Most Powerful Women in Prepaid Industry’. Played an active role in shaping the prepaid market being a founding member of Prepaid International Forum (PIF). Published author & speaker of choice at global & regional industry forums & conferences. I love an energetic start to the day with a cycle or run along the beach.
