Driven by the passion to make financial services more accessible to immigrants and underserved communities in the USA, Hempstone co-founded Waya, a US Based neobank that empowers immigrants and underserved communities in the USA with financial products and services that help them be more financially free, enrich their lives, and help them to be financially included. Hempstone previously founded a Kenyan-based Digital and Technology Company, CB Group, that enables SMEs in the USA, Kenya, and sub-Saharan Africa to leverage Digital Media, Technology, and Innovation to steer their businesses to the next level. The company also builds innovative products and solutions in Mobile Communications; Mobile Value Added Services, and eCommerce. He is passionate about excellence in service delivery and simplification of day-to-day problems through innovation and technology.
