I joined Delta Air Lines in 2021 as the company’s first global Chief Health & Wellbeing Officer. Our teams have led the strategies and operations to protect the health and safety of our people and customers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Working collaboratively with groups across the airline, we are investing in holistic wellbeing for our people, including our employees, customers, partners, and communities. At Delta, we have a culture of serving and caring for our people to empower our people to thrive and find more joy. Utilizing new technologies, advanced analytics and innovative partnerships, Delta aims to create value and invest in our people’s physical, emotional, financial and social wellbeing. I am an Adjunct Professor of Medicine at Emory University Healthcare and Professor Emeritus at Mayo Clinic. Before joining Delta, my leadership roles included serving as enterprise Chief Value Officer and Associate Dean at Mayo Clinic and enterprise Chief Quality Officer at New York Presbyterian, the University Hospital of Columbia and Cornell.
