A solicitor with over 30 years of professional experience, Hilary is currently a consultant with Harris Hagan on its renowned gambling team. She is also a trusted advisor to Teddy Sagi, consulting on a range of his PLCs including Playtech, Safecharge International and Cape; together with responsibilities in his other non-PLC investments in fintech, media, gambling and real estate. She was Deputy Chairman at Playtech PLC and headed its risk and compliance committee until stepping down in 2015. She is currently a non-executive director of Paysafe Ltd (USD SPAC listed on the NYSE), chairs its Risk Oversight committee and is a member of the Audit and Finance & Operations committees. Hilary has played a role in most of the online sector floats/acquisitions since 2000 but continues to advise brick and mortar businesses from tracks to casinos. She has written legislation and regulations for offshore governments and has drawn up industry codes of practice. Chambers in 2010 referred to her as ''a first-class lawyer who has gaming in her blood''. She is the only practitioner to be awarded a star in the gambling category (denoting exceptional recommendations in the sector).
