More than 20 years of R&D experience in cyber security, including both academic and industrial, focusing on practical problems and needs arising from real-world requirements particularly in protection of data security and privacy, automation of threat detection, securing AI systems, and quantum-safe security technology. Leadership and stakeholder management experience in driving R&D and innovation projects with successful translation of intellectual properties, created through both fundamental and applied research, into commercial products and services. Co-Director of a joint academia-industry R&D programme; initiated and overseen research projects driven by use cases from enterprises and government agencies; ensured quality, consistency and accountability across all phases of research and development from IP creation to translation. Member of Singapore National Security & Privacy Standards Technical Committee; active participant in international standardization of cryptography and security mechanisms.
