Bio

Iain has been a security consultant with NCC Group since 2016, and was promoted to Principal Security Consultant in 2022. He currently leads the NCC Group Containerisation and Orchestration Security Services practice, developing capabilities and training staff to assess the security of Docker and Kubernetes installations. Iain also has extensive experience in reviewing and breaking out of CI/CD pipelines and other modern development solutions. He is the primary maintainer and deliverer of the Mastering Container Security training course, which is regularly delivered internally to consultants, and externally to clients and at conferences. Prior to this position, Iain gained extensive experience in performing security assessments against cloud and infrastructure deployments, gaining an ability to clearly and concisely document and communicate security issues and recommended remediations.
