A professional in Aviation IT Systems with a Master’s degree in Information Management, an honors degree in Industrial Information Technology and CIMA professional qualification in Management Accounting, covering widespread technologies directly associated with the commercial aviation industry majorly in Airports, Engineering & Maintenance, and Flight Kitchen and In-Flight Catering. Served as a member of senior management team of SriLankan Catering, a subsidiary company under the Sri Lanka's flagship carrier, leading the Information Technology Department and engaged into many Catering related system implementation projects. Led many transformation projects in the recent years and enabled advanced technology solutions for the airline customers and internal business users of SriLankan Airlines and the Group. Currently engaged into Digital Transformation and undertakes responsibilities in Business Partnering and Relationship Management for the airline SBUs by playing a technology evangelistic role in change management. An aviation enthusiast with the thirst for knowledge in learning all aspects of the commercial and general aviation, aircraft operations, aircraft accident investigation, engineering schematics, etc.
