I’m not your typical public health professional. I don’t work in a local public health department or in state government. I work in addiction prevention. I’m dedicated to viewing addiction through the public health lens. In every informal and formal role I hold, I strive to address addiction as a public health issue - addressing the social health determinants at its core, thereby affecting entire populations. My passion lies in working to create safer environments, and educating professionals and communities to reduce everyone’s risk of addiction. In my current and past roles I’ve led and supported community coalitions; developed and planned a wide range of programs; conducted policy work with organizations and communities; and trained thousands of professionals. Some of my favorite projects are working with other professionals and organizations to link addiction to other causes, health issues and social concerns. I’d love to connect to learn about your world and explore how we can collaborate!
