I'm a photonics expert with over 20 years of experience in optics, optical metrology, augmented and virtual reality, nanofabrication, teaching, and numerical modeling of nanophotonic components. Having moved from the academia to the industry in 2018, I am currently leading the Optics Team at OptoFidelity. We develop various types of optical testing solutions, mainly for augmented and virtual reality products (AR/VR) for some of the biggest players in the business. As the delivered systems always include some degree automation, I have gained a wide range of understanding of not only machine vision, but also mechatronics, software development and metrology in general. In addition, I'm closely involved with sales. Research skills In the academia, my research work mainly entailed numerical electromagnetic simulation of nanophotonic components with various commercial and self-made software tools, mostly with MATLAB and COMSOL Multiphysics. However, I am also well versed in experimental nanophotonics and nanofabrication. I have authored over 20 international scientific journal publications, and have taken nine courses on Data Science/Analysis at Johns Hopkins University (see Certificates below).
