I have been in the power industry for over 15 years. During that time, I have managed many capital projects including pump rebuilds, heat exchangers, air heaters, etc. The biggest project came in the last year in which I was the project manager for the conversion of coal fired units to natural gas fired units. This project involved changing out the burners, fan enhancements, DCS control system upgrades, numerous valve installation, mechanical installation, and pre-fabricated equipment. This conversion was for two units and both maintained the same capacity after the conversion.
