Bio

My two great professional loves are network and systems management and open-source software. My NMS practice spans large IP networks in the service provider, government agency, carrier, and enterprise sectors. For a time I also worked on the consulting and development teams of a proprietary NMS vendor. Now I have the privilege of managing huge networks using OpenNMS, and on occasion I write and speak about my work.
