Sr Director, Technical Solutions, Smart Manufacturing and AI with emphasis on and in-depth experience designing and developing distributed systems and large-scale Big Data and Artificial Intelligence solutions using Google Cloud Platform, Spark, Hadoop, NoSQL and related technologies. Extensive experience building robust and scalable data engineering solutions for structured and unstructured data conducive for data science, business insights, reporting and analytics. Designed and implemented ingestion and analytic pipelines for several TB+/day manufacturing production and engineering data sets. Grew the team from 130 team members (US/Taiwan) to more than 360 team members including Cloud AI Architects, Machine Learning Engineers, Data Engineers, Software Engineers, Analysts and Technical leaders in (US/Taiwan/India/Singapore) in 3 years (during Covid19 pandemic).
