Born in Brooklyn, New York and a graduate from the State University of New York, College at Purchase, my first credits were in the action film market. Don't pretend you never saw BLOODSPORT 2. I then turned to my love of family films, having a greater affinity for younger protagonists through benefit of being emotionally stunted. I sold a spec screenplay LITTLE BIG FOOT to Working Title, did a rewrite on THE AMAZING PANDA ADVENTURE for Warner Brothers, and then wrote the story for DENNIS THE MENACE STRIKES AGAIN. Following these I did a rewrite on IT TAKES TWO (still waiting on a thank you card from Mary-Kate and Ashley) before selling my spec screenplay STANLEY'S CUP to Spyglass Pictures. I'LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS, BRINK!, and THE OTHER ME followed for Disney, followed by BEETHOVEN'S 3RD for Universal Studios. There's more, but that's why God invented resumes. I've got dozens and dozens of episodes of live-action and animation to my name -- THE FAMOUS JETT JACKSON, ANIMORPHS, MARTIN MYSTERY, TOTALLY SPIES, TEAM GALAXY, JANE AND THE DRAGON, FREEFONIX, , HOT WHEELS just to name a very few -- as well as having a close relationship with all of the CARE BEARS, having done two DTV movies for the franchise. What happens in Care-A-Lot stays in Care-A-Lot. I've been an executive story editor, showrunner, creative consultant, series creator, but I don't want to brag. That's because I have enormous talent with a tiny ego. I've also got a pugnacious approach to storytelling, which is why Mariner Software has developed their Contour story development software based on my teachings, and my book ''My Story Can Beat Up Your Story'' was published by Michael Wiese Books in spring, 2011. Specialties: Writing, script doctor, directing, concept creation and development, and a wiz at story structure
