Bio

Engineering leader with a broad technical background (distributed systems, games, AI) and track record of building teams and shipping products. I'm currently at BossAlien shipping Star Wars: Hunters, a new title in the Star Wars universe. Before this, I was an engineering leader for platform and feature development on VALORANT, Riot's tactical FPS. I focus on growth, people and healthy organizations, levelling up those around me as best I can, and figuring out what it takes to empower the organization - engineering and beyond. Diversity and inclusion are incredibly important to me - I care about making the path easier for those who follow, and the world better for my daughter. My time at Riot has taught me a lot about this space, although I prefer to stay technical and use inclusivity as my management superpower. I'm a regular public speaker, focusing on my work and technical topics, and love helping others give talks too. I won't speak at conferences without a code of conduct and commitment to diverse voices on their speaker roster.
