I support young people in leveraging their strengths to work on some of the biggest challenges in our world. Whether it's supporting purpose-driven career development through my work as a Changemaker Careers Lead for all students at SFU, or as a Career Educator for the Faculty of Environment, I'm on a mission to amplify the potential of youth to be changemakers and innovators. Through workshops and one-to-one conversations, I support them in taking action on the social and environmental issues they care about, and to challenge and transform systems to create the future THEY want to build. HIGHLIGHTS OF MY JOURNEY SO FAR... • Created one of the first changemaker career development programs in Canadian post-secondary, with over 70 students in the initial intake • Support hundreds of students each year in developing an entrepreneurial, anti-oppression and systems thinking mindset, coaching them to identify the problems they want to solve and leveraging ways to shape change • Engage student changemakers through workshops and one-to-one's using frameworks such as the UN SDGs and the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action • Completed an SFU Certificate in Social Innovation (with a capstone project on supporting student changemakers) and a Social Change Leadership Course from Groundswell Alternative Business School • Member of SFU's 2025 Climate Action Leadership Education and Skills Working Group to advance climate action education and curriculum • 6 years' experience as a Sessional instructor focused on trends in the future of work • Member of one of the first cohorts of career professionals in Canada to earn the Holistic Narrative Career Professional (HNCP) credential • Worked 10+ years in marketing, digital media, tech, healthcare and environmental startups in Canada and the UK before going through my own ''career pivot'' Reach out if you want to talk careers, social innovation, higher education or anything else.
