Bio

'Change is aligning your focus, energy, and time with other like-minded people to become an unstoppable force.'' I am passionate about bringing out the best in people, simplifying the complex and helping shape meaningful tools for others to stay on track to fulfill their dreams. As the award-winning Founder of Safe & the City, I've learned much over the years. From building a first-to-market product as a non-technical Founder, starting alone to building up the skills to recruit and manage an extraordinary team, bootstrapping a business to raising funding and generating B2B revenue, as well as networking from knowing no one to being invited to speak on global stages as a thought-leader. I've been able to build connections and make an impact including joining the Commonwealth Businesswomen Executive Team to empower 1B girls and women into business after being awarded Most Inspiring Role Model by the 53 Commonwealth Governments. I want to use my position I've worked hard for with a purpose to empower others. This has led me to also sit on the Department for International Trade’s Global Entrepreneurial Programme Female Founders Advisory Board to help attract and retain international female talent to the U.K. I have spoken on stages around the world to thousands of people, shared my personal and professional life mission of Equality By Design on the TEDx stage and tried to continually use my years of traveling abroad to over 50 countries and breadth of knowledge on gender equality, tech4good, women in STEM to inspire and motivate others to take innovative action to solve meaningful problems. One of the most important lessons to-date of my success remains surrounding myself with others also striving to make the most out of life and leave the world a better place. Whether it is working together with Safe & the City, speaking at your next important event or engaging me as a coach, let's learn more about each other and how we can become the best version of ourselves. Let's connect further one-to-one. Find out more at: www.jilliankowalchuk.com
