Founding partner of eWTP Capital, one of China’s earliest internet entrepreneurs, founded tom.com, the one of the country’s earliest online email service providers, and pp.cn, one of China’s first and largest social media platforms. Joined UC Web, a popular browser company in 2013, as vice president. After UC Web was acquired by Alibaba Group in the largest Chinese internet M&A deal in 2014, Li went on to head multiple businesses within the Alibaba Group.
