Bio

I am the Founder and CEO at intO – a specialist consultancy of diverse, multi-lingual, qualified Local Researchers who live and work up close within communities throughout the world. I am an expert in combining design research with social science and strategic innovation. I specialise in turning cultural insights into applied, inventive business strategies. Taking the lead in project teams, I match specific research approaches to projects’ unique objectives. My engaged approach to leadership contribute to the success of intO’s projects. My ambition is to achieve equality for all – gender equality in particular. I champion these by also building a company culture that empowers individuals and supports women and parents to continue developing their expertise while caring for their family. In addition, I am is visiting professor at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, in Dessau, Germany, and a guest lecturer on MA Innovation Management at Central Saint Martins. I am also an Entrepreneurship Mentor at London School of Economics and Zinc, an incubator for entrepreneurs who address the toughest social issues. I have been a speaker at TEDx, the BBC, Qual360, Service Design Days, Campus Party, in podcasts, and have written articles for Contagious, Inc. and LS:N Global publications. After graduating with BA (Hons) Product Design at Central Saint Martins, I gained an MSc Culture and Society at London School of Economics in sociology, anthropology and social psychology. I have worked as a brand-packaging designer at Tin Horse, and a Senior Design Researcher and strategist at Seymourpowell. I have lived in Poland, Germany, Ireland, and is based currently in the UK. I speak English, Polish, German and Italian.
