Preceding those two companies, spent several years in Silicon Valley working on M&A valuations for top software companies such as Oracle, HP, Yahoo, Cisco, and Amazon. Conviction underpins our approach to venture capital. We've learned that a little good fortune can go a long way, and that a smaller number of deep, meaningful connections is more powerful than a broad but shallow network--success requires a blend of talent and timing.
