I am a legal academic and social scientist who does research at the intersection of law, technology, and human rights, with strong empirical, interdisciplinary, and social science dimensions. My work aims to understand the role of technology in censorship, surveillance, disinformation, content moderation, and other corporate/regulatory practices, and their implications for human rights. I am also interested in the history of technology and the evolution of related legal/ethical norms.
