Joost's career has been built around his ability to set strategy, define technology-driven reform and deliver customer-centric solutions. He is a Non-Executive Director at Redkite. Joost was the Deputy Secretary Customer Strategy and Technology at Transport for NSW and led the development of long-term, multi-modal strategies, plans and policies for the Transport Cluster. Joost was also responsible for technology innovation and data analytics to provide integrated customer-centred mobility solutions. Customer and operational technology innovation covered MaaS, digital customer channels, CAVs, decarbonisation, congestion management systems, SCATS global adaptive traffic lights venture, open data and Quantum computing. Joost also managed the Cluster’s Opal ticketing, tolling, concessions, public affairs and marketing functions. Prior, he was the General Manager Enterprise Transformation at the Australian Government Department of Human Services and a Partner, Managing Director and Senior Advisor of The Boston Consulting Group.
