Bio

I use a unique combination of scientific methods, communication skills, engineering practices, project management tools and teaching elements that, together, solve a complex problem, help the team work independently and bring long-lasting value. I systematically and consistently shift gears between implementation and management to make sure that the implementation fulfills its goals and the goals are aligned with the stakeholders. From time to time I contribute to the Python open source community (Django, Keras, Shap, Bokeh, statmodels) and StackOverflow (~10k rep). More recently, I started a company, and have been sharpening my skills in management and sales. I am a member of the project committee of Apache Arrow, the in-memory format behind pyarrow, pyspark and many other data analytics libraries.
