Joseph Ng'ang'ira is a Partner in the Commercial Department of Kaplan & Stratton, Advocates one of Kenya's premier, top tier law firms. Joseph is a qualified Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and Certified Public Secretary. Joseph presently specializes in mergers and acquisitions, competition/antitrust law capital markets law, corporate law, start up of businesses in Kenya, , energy law, and carrying out legal due diligence exercises of businesses in various sectors in Kenya. He also has over 12 years experience in drafting and reviewing a wide range of commercial agreements and has advised on licensing and regulatory requirements in various sectors spanning from the energy sector to the telecommunications sector. Joseph has been applauded for exemplary knowledge in commercial law and has more recently acted for the acquirer in a landmark transaction that received the IFLR Africa M&A Deal of the year award.
