Co-Founded the U.S. Digital Corps and served as Senior Advisor for Technology Innovation and New Ventures to the Director / Commissioner of the Technology Transformation Services at GSA. I also previously served as Executive Director for the Presidential Innovation Fellows program, an elite, nonpartisan tech fellowship founded by the U.S. CTO in the Obama Administration that pairs top technologists with government executives to create better digital products and services for the public. Before joining the PIF program, I was on CVS Health’s Digital Strategy and Innovation team where I worked to accelerate innovation through healthcare and technology strategic partnerships and investments. I also worked at Mass General Brigham—a Harvard affiliated academic medical center—as a founding member of their Digital Innovation Hub to pilot health technology or partner with Harvard Medical School professors to commercialize technology. Prior to Mass General Brigham, I served as Director of Operations for a biotechnology start-up that focused on novel gene editing technology. Personal: I enjoy learning about emerging healthcare technology, particularly within digital health. I am also passionate about breaking down barriers to entrepreneurship in healthcare and translating technology into commercial healthcare products. I currently reside with my wife, Vanessa, in Washington D.C. In my spare time, I enjoy being outdoors (running, hiking, biking, skiing, etc.), reading, cooking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
